Tsen Engineering is located in Austin, Texas, off Congress, just south of the river.  Tsen was initially established as a mentor-protégé firm JQ+Tsen, LLC in 2010 by Gary Jaster and Stephanie Tsen.

 

We have accomplished our goal to graduate from a protégé firm to a unique, standalone brand over the last three years. In those three years we have celebrated many accomplishments: our staff has grown, we have moved into a new office and we have tackled increasingly larger projects all around Texas.  We have re-envisioned our core values, operations, vision, and goals.  And now we are adapting an entirely new visual brand that expresses our precision, experience, and dependability in structural engineering solutions.

Although the name and brand of the firm changed, our team remains the same. Tsen Engineering is an agile team of highly trained structural engineers and technicians. Our senior engineers have more than 60 years of combined engineering experience in Central Texas.  We enjoy working with consultants and stakeholders to understand their needs on a project and are dedicated to responding with thoughtful and comprehensive structural solutions.

Our portfolio spans across Texas — from Central Texas to Abilene, Marfa to Houston, and Corpus Christi. Our experience is comprised of projects of varied sizes and scopes—from large $200M projects to small <$1M projects.

Our engineers are certified in Texas and Florida. Tsen Engineering is certified by the City of Austin as a Woman-Owned/Minority Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and by the State of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
