Goodnight Ranch Fire and Emergency Medical Service Facility

Structural Engineering

In 2017, a service needs analysis of the Austin Fire Department led to the City Council-sanctioned creation of a six-year plan to construct and staff five fire/EMS stations in the areas of most need: Del Valle/Moore’s Crossing, Travis Country, Loop 360/Davenport, Goodnight Ranch and Canyon Creek/620. Building these five fire/EMS stations will dramatically decrease fire and EMS response times to residents and businesses in the area. May 2018—After reviewing the Risk and Service Delivery Analysis and the City’s plan to build critical Fire/EMS stations, Council passed a resolution asking City management to develop a plan to fund/build five new stations within six years.
